Over the last few decades there have been remarkable advances in the field of microwave wireless communication which are widely being used in voice and data communication in our daily life. Photonics plays an important role in such networks for the backhaul network connecting the wireless routers. So, there is a correlation between Microwave and Photonics and the new field came into existence is Microwave Photonics, which studies the interaction between microwave and light wave for applications in communication, sensor networks, radar, warfare systems, and so on. Moreover, there has been an explosion of new interest in the frequency regime of submillimeter-wave and THz bands (300 GHz – 10 THz), mainly coming from those approaching the THz performance gap from the optical end of the electromagnetic spectrum. People from microwave and photonics communities are therefore realizing that there is a strong need to give a new dimension in the efforts to catch up with the rapid strides being made in the new technology. ICMAP-2015 has been proposed to partially fulfill this need.
Through its technical program, ICMAP-2015 aims to provide an outstanding interface to address new trends and challenges in the field of Microwave and Photonics and their various applications in our daily life and in earth science based industries. It will include keynote addresses and invited talks from eminent scientists, distinguished faculties and industry experts from India and Abroad. The conference will conclude with a panel discussion which will brainstorm solutions to some research problems and discuss the scope of collaborative works. A complimenting exhibition will also be organized to give an opportunity to manufactures and suppliers to display their products.
After successfully organizing two National Conferences, namely Frontiers in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation and Information Technology “(FECIIT – 2008) and Frontiers in Electronics, Communication and Information Technology (FECIT – 2011), it was felt by our research groups to conduct an international event which can create a common platform that can bring together the academic
ICMAP 2015 will offer an opportunity to the exhibitors to promote their products and services to attending delegates face-to-face. The Exhibition will run in parallel with the conference sessions, from 9:00 A.M to 6:30 PM. The exhibition area will be in front of the poster session area and all lunch and tea/ coffee breaks for delegates will be located close to the exhibition area.
Prospective authors are requested to prepare a 2-page camera-ready summary of their paper following the template. The paper should clearly describe motivation and approach of the research as well as specific results and their significance, including figures. Authors are requested to submit their manuscript only in PDF through online submission procedure via this website on or before the submission deadline. Papers will not be accepted after the submission deadline. Please do not include page numbers on submitted documents.
